Referral Terms
Last updated: 15 August 2026
1. Employer sets the bonus
The employer decides whether a vacancy accepts recruiter referrals and chooses the referral bonus and any role-specific terms. Gullia does not impose a fixed bonus.
2. Bonus is recorded at referral
When an eligible referral is submitted, the offered bonus is recorded for that referral. Later changes to the job's current offer do not automatically change an existing referral's recorded bonus.
3. Candidate consent
The recruiter must have the candidate's permission to share their details and CV for the opportunity.
4. Duplicate referrals
A candidate already referred for the same vacancy may not qualify as a new referral. Gullia may prevent duplicate submissions using information recorded on the platform.
5. Referral stages
Progress may be tracked as referred, interviewing, offered, hired, guarantee, payable, paid or rejected. A displayed status helps track progress but does not independently create a payment entitlement.
6. When payment is due
A bonus becomes payable only when the applicable employer referral conditions are satisfied. Employers should clearly state any guarantee or qualifying period.
7. Payments
Unless Gullia expressly introduces an integrated payment or escrow service, payments are arrangements between the participating employer and recruiter. A “paid” status records the reported status and does not mean Gullia processed the funds.
8. Misuse
Fraudulent referrals, false candidate information or referrals without consent may result in rejection and account restriction.
